Hikers Beyond Borders Mountain Muhabura, Ssagitwe Caldera Hill Hike 24th -26th April

KISORO MUHABURA HIKE.

The Kisoro trip is happening from 24th to 26th April, which means it's a 3-day, 2-night trip. Kisoro District has a lot to offer when it comes to the tourism industry.
*Key Highlights of the Trip:*
- Road Trip Vibes
- Muhabura Hike
- Ssagitwe Caldera Hike
- Lake Mutanda Tour
- Boat Cruising
- Ziplining
- Kisoro Town Tour
- Batwa Experience
- Kisoro Night Life

*Day 1:*
We are planning to set off on Friday at exactly 10:00 AM. We shall have lunch on our way in Kabale town. Then, after lunch, we shall proceed with our journey to Kisoro before 5 PM. Immediately after arriving in Kisoro, we shall check in, take showers, and eat supper. After supper, we shall gather in our fire space for fire camping, where we encourage those planning to do the Muhabura Hike the next day not to drink and to sleep early to save energy for the hike.
*Day 2:*
We are planning to have two groups: one group of those hiking Muhabura Mountain and another group will be conquering Ssagitwe Caldera Hill. The reason why we are planning to have two groups is that it has come to our attention that not everyone can manage to do the Muhabura Hike due to its steepness and the distance, which require enough preparedness and good health. We have decided to have two groups: one group of senior hikers doing Muhabura Mountain and the rest (junior hikers) will do Ssagitwe Caldera Hill, which can be done by everyone.
The Muhabura Mountain team will set off as early as 6 AM so that before 6:30 AM, they are at the park entrance ready for briefing. It should be noted that it is around a 30-minute drive from Kisoro Town to the park entrance, so we shall make sure we respect time. Muhabura Mountain is at an elevation of 4127 meters (13,540 ft) above sea level, which means that if we set off at 7 AM, we shall be back around 5 PM, though this depends on the speed.
The junior hikers (Ssagitwe Caldera) team will start their hike at 9:00 AM after breakfast, and Caldera Ssagitwe Hill is a 4-hour hike depending on the speed: 2 hours of ascending and 2 hours of descending, which is manageable by everyone here.
After Ssagitwe Caldera Hill, we shall have lunch, then at 3:00 PM, we shall usher in another session of Kisoro Town Tour experience where we expect to see the beautiful Kisoro town markets, streets, and, of course, the Batwa Experience in Town.

NB: If God allows, the Muhabura Mountain team will join us for Kisoro Town Tour, that's in case they are back in time.

At 6 PM, we shall get back to our accommodation, take our showers, and have dinner. After dinner, we shall have the most interesting part of Kisoro Night Life, where we shall choose one of the best clubs in Kisoro, go there, and have fun as a team as we congratulate ourselves for conquering mountain Muhabura. We shall leave the club early, sleep, and prepare ourselves for the next day's activities.

*Day 3:*
We shall wake up early at 8:00 AM, use one hour for exercises and team-building games. At exactly 9:00 AM, we shall load our bags and say goodbye to the hotel, then head to Mutanda Lake. We expect to be at Lake Mutanda before 10 AM, where we shall do a number of activities. Lake Mutanda offers a lot of activities, including boat cruising, ziplining, and, of course, ninja games (high course). After boat cruising, high course, and ziplining, we shall say goodbye to Kisoro and head back to our home of milk and honey.
*Key things to note:*
*Food, Accommodation, and Ziplining at Lake Mutanda are out-of-pocket. This will depend on your choices for food and accommodation. Ziplining is optional*
