Flavia Nyakato has been appointed as the new General Manager of Greater Afrikan Radio.
From Grass to Grace. The Ugandan notable Humura Program host, popularly known as Owakajuma, has been appointed as the General Manager for the Mbarara city-based Greater Afrikan Radio. Flavia Nyakato is a native of Masha Rwetango, Isingiro, and comes from a very humble family background. "Having come from a humble background, I had to work extra hard to achieve my goals, and everything I have is a result of my sweat, with the help of my late guardian, Father Karenzi," she quoted. She is a lawyer by profession and a media enthusiast. Flavia Nyakato rose to fame at Endigito Radio, where she worked from 2014-2020, hosting the Ebaruha program and Court Yamaka. She was also a Television Presenter at GNTV, running the Okubyatandikire program and Amaziima Nigahi. From 2020-2023, she joined Eiraka Radio, an Ibanda-based radio station, doing the Humura program.
